It was heartbreaking to see Christopher Robin leaving Winnie the Pooh and other friends behind. He said he had to and he did. He not only stayed far away from them but also forgot about his childhood in the process of growing old. He got busy in his adult life so much so that he did not even have time to miss anyone or anything from the past. He never missed his childhood friends either until after 20 years when Winnie the Pooh showed up in his life out of nowhere.
I felt very bad for the Pooh seeing that Christopher Robin wasn’t even happy to see him after so long. It was sad to see Winnie the Pooh and his friends missing someone every single day for years. Someone like Christopher Robin who did not miss them and wasn’t even willing to see them again.
But this I think is the beauty of innocent creatures like Winnie the Pooh and his friends. They still considered Christopher Robin their friend and welcomed him in their family once again. No blame games, no complains. For them nothing had changed. Christopher Robin was still the one who saved them from all the troubles. It takes a kind heart to forgive people without expecting an apology. Winnie the Pooh and his friends definitely had the kindest hearts of all.
I know they all are characters from the fiction but are very close to my heart. Their innocence melts my heart every time I see them on the screen. They are unaware of the cruel world outside. The only way they know to live life is with friends and family in harmony and peace. Isn’t it the best way to live our lives?
PS – This writing piece is based on the movie Christopher Robin released in 2018 and my childhood memorires of watching Winnie the Pooh cartoon show on television.
I have grown up watching many cartoon shows and believe that the characters offer a lot for us to learn from them. So one question, would you guys like it if I continue to write on the same line and put up more articles based on these cartoon shows?

I haven’t seen the movie or read the comics of Winnie the Pooh! You should suggest me some to watch movies in quarantine time ? would love to watch ’em ? Miss you, Prat. Stay safe.
My routine has changed and i too am not into movies much. The only movie I watched and loved was Joker. I was waiting for it and it did not disappoint me. I recommended it to all but not sure whether you will like it. Pretty dark shaded character with amazing performance and thoughtful script. You can watch but I would not recommend only because I think this is not the movie for you. Miss you too. Take care. 🙂
